Palm native to Australia, the Wodyetia bifurcata is a species of palm that makes any garden immediately acquire an exotic touch.

Very elegant palm tree due to its feathery foliage. Monoecious palm with a simple trunk and prominent capital, 8-10 m high and 15 cm in diameter. Leaves pinnate, recurve, with numerous leaflets arranged in various planes of the rachis, which gives it a feathery appearance; the leaflets are bi or trifurcated.

It grows successfully in all hot-temperate and tropical climates.It adapts to various types of soils and situations, being fast growing.Resistance to calcareous soils with a certain alinity, it will tolerate a small frost of up to -4C and short periods of drought.
